Before Hiring Event Photographer or Videographer Check These
Below is a list of things that you might want to consider before hiring a photographer or a videographer.
1. Budget. The most important thing is, how much do you want to spend? Average rate for event photography in Los Angeles in 2022 is $300 per hour.
2. Shot List. If you have something in mind that you absolutely do not want them to miss, let them know beforehand so they don't miss it by mistake.
3. Ask the photographer what the best picture would be for the cover page of your son's/daughter's album.

4. If more than 50 people, hire two photographers. If you are inviting a large number of people, you may want to hire more than one photographer so they can take pictures of different groups at the same time and then switch off later if necessary.
5. Special Moments. If there are any family traditions that you would like to have captured in pictures, tell the photographer so he can understand them better and make sure he captures them well. (for example, lighting candles).
6. Check Photo Packages. Make sure that the photography packages include all the things that you are looking for (dancing pictures, group pictures, candid shots).
7. Ask about the number of people who will be working for him/her during this time and if there will be anyone else helping out with taking photos or videos.
